Health and Wellness
K-State Research and Extension is committed to the health and wellness of Kansas communities. Health and wellness describe physical, mental, financial, and social wellness, not just the absence of illness or injury. People with healthful lifestyles are healthier, happier, more productive, miss work less and have lower healthcare costs. Everything we do, feel, think and experience can affect our health.
K-State continues to educate, motivate and support Kansan's health with programs on stress management, physical activity, healthcare access, nutrition, community health, child development and financial well-being.
